The paper argues that the 2024 iteration represents a "fix" of the antiquated objectification inherent in the original Dabangg (2010) track, recontextualizing the character within the modern OTT (Over-The-Top) landscape where agency, grit, and anti-heroism dominate. Through a lens of remix culture and digital diaspora studies, this analysis investigates how platforms like Desiflix are archiving, curating, and rewriting Bollywood history for a Gen Z demographic.
