Using the camera and a weed suppression tool, FarmBot can identify and mechanically destroy weeds using a rotary tool or by crushing them. Because the system does not rely on chemicals, it promotes organic farming practices.

You walk the FarmExBot around the perimeter. It maps the field via GPS. Day 2 (Planting): You plant as usual. The bot records the precise GPS location of every single seed you drop. Day 3-30 (Scouting & Weeding): The bot autonomously drives down the rows. It looks at each seed location. If it sees a green leaf that is not in the seed spot, it zaps or removes it. It does this every 2-3 days, catching weeds when they are tiny. farmexbot
