Written in the 1930s, it captures the raw energy of the Cuban conga street carnival. The piece is not yet in the public domain in most major territories, so IMSLP does not offer a free download. For performance, acquire the authorized edition from Peer Music or Edward B. Marks. Its relentless, fiery ostinato and explosive climax make it a staple of Latin piano and wind band repertoire.”
