The American Language Course Placement Test (ALCPT) Form 115 is a standardized 100-question multiple-choice exam used primarily by the Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC) and affiliated military ESL programs. Its goal is to assess a student’s current English proficiency level (listening and grammar/vocabulary/reading) for placement into the appropriate phase of the American Language Course.
