Fukrey Returns picks up shortly after the first film. Hunny, Choocha, Lali, and Zafar are trying to lead legitimate lives. Choocha’s prophetic dreams — which previously helped them win big — have returned, but this time they’re erratic. Meanwhile, Bholi Punjaban is out of jail and seeking revenge, and a water shortage crisis in Delhi sets the stage for a new get-rich-quick scheme involving a shady politician (played by Pankaj Tripathi).
