The centerpiece of the gallery is a series of twenty deconstructed power blazers. Poddelka takes the traditional symbol of corporate conformity and rips it apart—literally. Seams are left raw. Shoulder pads are exaggerated to architectural proportions. One blazer in the collection (titled The Executive’s Nightmare ) features eighteen pockets, none of which are functional, and a lapel that spirals into a hood.
