As the attacks intensify, a group of survivors, including a hotel owner (Elisabeth Shue) and a park ranger (Adam Scott), team up to try and stop the piranhas and escape the town. Along the way, they encounter a marine biologist (Robert Englund) who has some knowledge about the piranhas.

Released in 2010, Piranha 3D is a reboot of the 1978 Joe Dante film. Directed by Alexandre Aja (known for High Tension and The Hills Have Eyes ), the film took a ridiculous premise and turned it into a blood-soaked masterpiece.

As they dug deeper, they discovered that the scientist responsible was none other than a former employee of the local aquarium, driven by a twisted desire for revenge against the town that had wronged him. The friends knew they had to act fast, or risk losing the entire town to the jaws of the deadly piranhas.

If you have not seen Piranha 3D , watching a pixelated Filmyzilla rip would be a crime against cinema. Here is why the legal HD version matters.
